I have not deposited or withdrawn from my Easy Saver account for about 6 months already. Is it still active?

lirblog April 4, 2012 at 12:52 pm

Hi, I think it is still active since it has no maintaining balance requirement. If you have the ATM card, you can check it at any BPI ATM.

Gil June 6, 2012 at 10:41 am

Hi tope,

Yes pede yan sa ‘yo. I think pwede rin sya as BPI EPS. You only need to deposit an initial deposit of P250.

I’m thinking of selling some things online through multiply. I’d really prefer transactions through bank account, would you suggest BPI Easy Savers or is there any other type of account that is suitable?

Reply

Gil June 23, 2012 at 7:37 am

Hi Yard,

Yes, I think there’s no problem with BPI Easy Saver account, you can use it as a bank account.

Yes you can use it as payment method (BPI EPS) when shopping. Your baby can have an account in her/his name but you still furnish the requirements..like your ID, birth cert., proof of billing..

Reply

Gil October 6, 2012 at 10:33 am

Hi Jana,

Yes there’s an interest when you deposited P5,000. The normal interest is 0.25%. So for P5,000, the interest would be P12.50 in one year.

hi! tanong ko lang if paano ko makukuha ung atm card ko for the easy saver account? nagfile ako ng application, i think, last month (october) then i presented my company id and other id like alumni id, philhealth id, tin id, school id(just to support the other IDs that i have)..then tinawagan ng bpi ang employer ko pero sabi ng employer sa bpi hindi daw nila binibigay ang infos about s employees nila..so paano maapprove ung application ko for the easy saver account? i also paid the 250php for the initial deposit and atm card..hinihintay ko din n tawagan ako ng bpi pero wala parin calls from bpi..
thanks!=)

Hi Chzarina,

I suggest you go directly to the bank because you have already completed the process of application. You should get your ATM card after 3-5 days.

Hi Sir! Anu pong difference ng mismong BPI sa BPI Family Savings Bank? Mas gusto ko po ksi ng mas mataas ang interest. Sa BPI Family Savings Bank, 0.500% ang interest rate while for BPI main is 0.250% sa Easy Saver Account nila. So saan po ako dapat mag-open ng account? Thank you po.

Reply

Gil March 10, 2013 at 1:41 pm

Hi Melvin,

BPI Family savings bank is just a subsidiary bank of BPI. Of course, you should open at BPI Family because it has higher interest.
